Congratulations to the newest graduates from our Project Perk and Project Parcels internship programs! Walker and Corey completed six month internships at Breaking Grounds Cafe, while Tori worked for six months at Northeast Arc Gifts. During their internships, each learned all facets of the respective businesses including food preparation, greeting customers, and merchandising. Next all three will begin searching for jobs in the community. Tori and Walker are pictured with Sadete, the manager of Northeast Arc Gifts, and Michael, an employment specialist at Northeast Arc. Corey is pictured with Michael and Lauren, program manager of the Supported Employment program. Each of the graduates received a certificate for completing their internship and had the chance to celebrate with celebrate with their families and NeArc staff.
